I had a terrific time yesterday, November 1, 2008 at Norwalk's Hungarian Festival across from Norwalk HS at the VFW Hall at 60 County Street. The Stuffed Cabbage was almost like my mom's and the Kolbász (sausage) was really authentic. I got to spend time with my date, my son John, and met a couple of his friends. I hadn't laughed so much in a long while! It is wonderful to be in great company.
Jim Himes, the Democratic candidate for Congress trying to oust Chris Shays showed up to meet and greet. He is a nice guy and I will leave it at that not wanting to make a foray into any political discussion except maybe to say that I can hardly wait for this election to be over!
